There, I took a dim view on them fitting into college. GZ is quite content at college now, so I don&#8217;t know what the hell I was on when I wrote that.<\/p>\n<p>So why do I consider GZ to be the exception when it comes to &#8216;suspended&#8217; friendships? GZ is someone I turn to when, you know, you want to have a substantial conversation about something vague. Like relationships, and people!<\/p>\n<p>I also feel a unique connection to GZ, that I feel is expiring soon. When GZ broke up with their significant other, I was the proverbial &#8216;shoulder to cry on&#8217;. Maybe I wasn&#8217;t the most sensitive person, but I (and others) helped her get through it.<\/p>\n<p>Hmm. Haven&#8217;t caught up with GZ for a few months now.
