If you don&#8217;t know what it means, it is used to describe a person who is primarily attracted to the opposite gender, but has an interest in sexual\/romantic relations with the same gender.<\/p>\n<p>People who do not like the term <em>bi-curious<\/em>, say that the term is too open; it describes too much of the &#8216;spectrum&#8217; between heterosexuality and bisexuality. Can&#8217;t really blame them, just look at LGBTQIA. There&#8217;s a letter to describe each exact situation!<\/p>\n<p>Trouble is, being bi-curious implicitly means that you are exploring bisexuality. A man might only want the experience of being romantic towards another man, while a woman may want to experience lesbian sex. Again, the term CAN&#8217;T DESCRIBE ONLY ONE SITUATION! We all want to see gay\/lesbian people not afraid of coming out without retribution or protest from the wider community.<\/p>\n<p>A statement of sexual orientation should be as easy as saying to people &#8220;I have a boy\/girlfriend&#8221;. Saying that one is bi-curious should be as easy as saying &#8220;I&#8217;m trying yoga&#8221; or &#8220;I&#8217;m interested in the study of arachnids&#8221;.<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>I&#8217;m surprised that the term bi-curious is not used more often.
